Coaching

Basketball has been integrated into American Indian culture since the sport’s creation. Like many reservations, the Crow are known to have some the most talented players in Montana’s history. Growing up into this culture catalyzed my affinity for the game.

Coaching has been a lifelong dream. It pleases me to say that I am now living it. What an honor it is for me to work with our youth.

My philosophy is whatever we do, we do it with our whole heart (Ecclesiastes 9:10). Whether at home, the classroom, or on the court, we give it our all. On the court everything begins on the defensive end. Disciplined, high intensity pressure that increases the likelihood of mistakes, decreases the chances of a score, and is the origin of our up-tempo offense.

It is my expectation that every player can defend, shoot, pass, dribble, and rebound. We are positionless. We must do it all. Nothing less. Offense is predicated on attacking the rim, ball movement, player movement, and taking the best shot available. Adjustments will be made on an as-needed basis.
